Volle Solidarität mit der Ukraine
Nach dem Angriff Russlands auf die Ukraine gilt unsere ganze Solidarität den Menschen vor Ort. Hier kannst Du nachlesen, was Du jetzt tun kannst, um zu helfen.
Die Eskalation in der Ukraine hat sich schon länger angedeutet, jetzt ist sie tatsächlich da: Der russische Präsident Wladimir Putin hat den Militäreinsatz in der Ukraine genehmigt. Damit hat er den Krieg zurück nach Europa gebracht. Putin hat mit den elementarsten Regeln der internationalen Ordnung gebrochen. Hunderttausende Menschen mussten über Nacht ihr Zuhause verlassen. Die Bundesregierung arbeitet unter Hochdruck an Hilfen für die Ukraine, 16 Millionen Euro hat Außenministerin Annalena Baerbock bereits auf den Weg gebracht und angekündigt, Europa stehe „an der Seite der Ukrainerinnen und Ukrainer und wir werden alle aufnehmen“.
Unsere Gedanken sind in diesen schweren Zeiten bei den Menschen in der Ukraine. Ihnen gilt unsere volle Solidarität.
Was in den letzten Tagen auch deutlich wurde: Viele Menschen in Deutschland wollen helfen und Ukrainer*innen unterstützen, wo es geht. Hier findest Du eine Auswahl an Möglichkeiten, wie Du helfen kannst.
Was Du tun kannst
- Spende Geld direkt an Hilfsorganisationen wie das „Aktionsbündnis Katastrophenhilfe“ oder „Ärzte ohne Grenzen“. Plattformen wie Instagram zahlen laut eigenen Angaben in der Regel erst nach 2-4 Wochen aus.
- Du kannst Übernachtungsplätze für Geflüchtete anbieten. Zum Beispiel über die „Initiative Unterkunft“ vom Netzwerk „Elinor”.
- Falls Du lieber mit Sachspenden helfen möchtest: Informiere Dich vorab bei Organisationen bei Dir vor Ort darüber, was tatsächlich gebraucht wird. Viele NGOs stellen Listen dafür zur Verfügung.
- Verbreite nur Informationen aus sicheren Quellen und verhindere so, dass Desinformation weiter verbreitet wird.
- Teile keine Bilder und Videos von Kriegsgefangenen. Das kann schlimme Folgen für sie und ihre Familien haben. Auch die Genfer Konvention regelt in Artikel 13, dass Kriegsgefangene vor öffentlicher Neugier geschützt werden müssen.
- Geh auf Demos und zeig Deine Solidarität.
