Rassismus ist noch immer eine brutale Wirklickeit in unserem Land. Die Anschläge in Hanau und Halle, die Taten des NSU, der Mord an Walter Lübcke – sie alle zeigen es. Gleichzeitig erheben immer mehr Menschen ihre Stimme gegen rassistische Gewalt und Diskriminierung und stellen sich gegen Rechtsextremismus. Denn nur gemeinsam können wir erreichen, dass sich alle Menschen in diesem Land frei und sicher fühlen. Unterzeichne jetzt den Appell und fordere, rechtsextreme und rassistische Straftaten wirksam zu bekämpfen, Rassismus und Diskriminierung zu stoppen und Vielfalt und Teilhabe zu fördern.
Die Angriffe und Bedrohungen durch Rechtsextremismus zielen besonders auf Jüdinnen und Juden, auf Musliminnen und Muslime, auf emanzipierte Frauen, auf Menschen, die anders aussehen, glauben, lieben oder heißen. Auf alle, die anders sind und leben als Rechtsextreme sich ihre enge Welt vorstellen. Die Stärke einer Demokratie misst sich immer auch am Umgang mit Minderheiten. Wir tragen gemeinsam Verantwortung, dass Rechtsextremismus und rassistischer Terror gestoppt werden. Wir setzen uns für ein friedliches Zusammenleben, für Demokratie und die gleiche Würde und Freiheit aller Menschen ein.
Dafür fordern wir die Bundesregierung auf, die folgenden zehn Maßnahmen umzusetzen:
- Konsequente Erfassung und Verfolgung von Gewalt, Verschwörungstheorien und Hetze im Netz durch die Einrichtung einer flächendeckenden virtuellen Polizeiwache, bei der man online Strafanzeigen gegen Hass im Netz stellen kann.
- Eine wirksame Verschärfung des Waffenrechts.
- Schwerpunkt-Staatsanwaltschaften, die sich rechtsextremen Straftaten widmen und dafür mit ausreichend Personal ausgestattet sind.
- Ein entschiedenes Vorgehen gegen rechte Strukturen in den Sicherheitsbehörden.
- Eine „Task Force Rechtsextremismus“ als Anlaufstelle für Menschen, die von rechter Gewalt bedroht sind.
- Einen Fonds für Opfer von rechter Gewalt.
- Die Stärkung antirassistischer Arbeit in Schulen.
- Ein Demokratiefördergesetz als Grundlage für die Förderung von politischer Bildung, von antirassistischen Initiativen und von Aussteigerberatung für Rechtsextreme.
- Den Anteil von Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund in Verwaltungen und Behörden, insbesondere der Polizei, zu erhöhen.
- Ein Partizipations- und Integrationsgesetz, das umfassende gesellschaftliche Teilhabe für Menschen, die rassistisch diskriminiert werden, sichert und die interkulturelle Öffnung von Institutionen fördert.
